Pr Rakech Jalali, one of the world’s foremost authorities on radiotherapy and proton therapy, gave a warm welcome to the SMEDI Oncology delegation, led by Mr; Ghazi Mejbri, CEO of SMEDI, visiting the proton therapy center in Chennai, India
As part of the partnership between SMEDI, SHINON (India) and “APOLLO HOSPITALS” (INDIA), a delegation led by SMEDI and made up of Oncologists from Tunisia and various other countries in Sub-Saharan Africa, visited work and networking, at the proton therapy center in Chennai (see previous posts)
Through his rich academic and professional background, through the technological means under his authority and at his disposal, and through the quantity and quality of the files and data at his disposal on hundreds of patients from more than 50 countries, Dr. Rakech Jalali has been able to to rise to the rank of the 5 greatest world authorities in radiation therapy. His continuous publications and his opinions are authoritative in the USA (at the famous Miami Cancer Research Center), in Brussels, in Switzerland, in Japan, Great Britain, France and where radiation therapy is most advanced.
Dr. Jalali has received a number of distinctions and awards in this field.
Pr Jalali gave a warm welcome to the delegation led by SMEDI visiting the proton therapy center in Chennai, of which he is the medical executive director.
