Carrying out a Covid-19 test at Félix Houphouët-Boigny FHB airport in Abidjan for passengers arriving from Dakar and Tunis.

Following the resurgence of Covid-19 cases related to the delta virus in certain African countries, particularly Senegal and Tunisia, and given the movement of populations by air between these countries and Côte d’Ivoire, the risk of spreading of the delta variant in our country remains high.

Also, in order to reduce this risk, is it brought to the attention of passengers from these countries and of all the actors of the airport platform that within the framework of the reinforcement of health control at the level of Félix airport Houphouët-Boigny, all travelers from these countries will be subject to a free Covid-19 test from August 6, 2021.

Travelers who test negative will normally continue with police formalities. Travelers who test positive will be cared for in accordance with the procedures for caring for Covid-19 patients in Côte d’Ivoire.
