At the invitation of Mr. Ghazi Mejbri, Managing Director of the SMEDI group, Mr. Majid Zangooei, secretary general of the HTDC center for the development of medical tourism in Islamic countries, arrived in Tunisia following a tour in Europe which had led to Milan, Warsaw and Berlin. This visit allowed Mr. M Zangooei to better understand the health sector in Tunisia. During his stay in Tunisia, he was notably received by Mr. Ali Mrabet Minister of Health, Dr. Zakhama Boubaker, president of the chamber of private clinics of the UTICA health federation, he was also received by the members of the executive office of the chamber of health services. He took the opportunity to visit healthcare structures and doctors. At the end of his stay, he expressed his admiration for the work of the various links in the value chain of the care of foreign patients in Tunisia.
In particular, he told the Minister of his admiration for the Tunisian experience in the area of ​​convalescence centers which he found innovative and exportable to Arab countries, Islamic countries and other destinations.
